DRIVER
OPPORTUNITIES
We conduct in-depth driver training twice a year:
during the month of February and again during the
month of August.
We accept applications and conduct interviews
during the months of January and July.
Only part-time positions are available. When a
full-time position becomes available, we promote
from among our part-time drivers exclusively.
Our greatest need is for drivers with part-time
anytime availability. We hire those with nights
and weekends only availability as well.
QUALIFICATIONS
All our drivers must possess a CDL Class A or
B license with a P endorsement and be able to become
medically certified and physically able to handle
the rigors of baggage handling, extended hours
at the wheel, and irregular hours on the job.
We
offer complete CDL training for those without
the necessary licensure as well as intensive refresher
training for those with the required licensure.
It is the applicant’s responsibility to have
acquired the required CDL B with a P endorsement
learner’s permit by the time the 2 weeks
of classroom training ends and the skills training
begins.
All applicants must agree to and will be subjected
to a thorough background check, including criminal,
an employment reference check, a safety history
check, a drug and alcohol testing history check,
a motor vehicle records check, a pre-employment
drug test, and a D.O.T. medical exam as a criteria
for being considered for employment by Young Transportation
Tours and Charters.
