Driver Opportunities

We conduct in-depth Motorcoach Operator training two to three times during the year, usually in January and August. Each training class is 6-weeks, Monday thru Friday, with some night driving.

We accept applications, and conduct interviews all year.

Only part-time positions are available. When a full-time position opens, we only promote from among our part-time Driver pool.

Our greatest need is for Drivers with anytime availability, especially March thru June, and September thru November.


All potential Motorcoach Operators must possess a CDL Class A or B license, with an unrestricted Passenger endorsement, and 1 year experience in a school bus, motorcoach, or similar passenger-carrying vehicle. You must possess, or be able to obtain a DOT medical card, and pass a third-party administered fitness exam. You need to be physically able to handle the rigors of baggage handling, extended hours behind the wheel, and the irregular hours on the job.

All applicants must agree to permit Young Transportation to conduct a thorough background check including criminal, an employment reference check, a safety history check, a drug and alcohol testing history check, and a motor vehicle records check. A pre-employment drug test and a DOT medical exam will need to be passed to be considered for employment at Young Transportation.
