Hey Donna,

A couple weeks back I was in Winston-Salem with a track team and had a few hours off duty at lunch. I went to a Golden Corral to eat and noticed a youth group washing cars in the rain. Well, my heart went out to them it being a rainy day, and so I walked over to make a contribution to their donation box. The group leader said they were doing very good with the car wash and had sposors for each car they washed on top of the donations from the "free carwash." The leader asked me to bring over my "car." I chuckled and pointed to the bus at the other end of the lot and said that's o.k. I'll just make a donation. At that point, he said, "Oh it's a Young bus! We use Young to take us to Windy Gap!"

The group is Young Life from Winston-Salem. Anyhow, he said the group would get a kick out of washing on the bus a little, and as you can see they seemed to really enjoy themselves. Not to mention, that was the most I've ever seen a bus shine. It was good to get the bugs off the windshield, too.

The group leader took a couple of pics with me and the group, and I took a few candids. I told them I would see if you had a place in our website's photo album to post them for a while so they can see the pics.

Anyhow, it was a fun event, and I dropped them $25 in the bucket. It was a worthy cause to help these kids go to the camp.

Hope you like the pics. I think they're fun to look at.
